The “VGroove” Panel Router with Vertical Table comes standard with an dedicated routing unit with custom made “V” grooving cutterhead that allows very high speed processing, up to 4 times faster than conventional flute tools. The name “VGroove” is synonymous with the fastest panel router in the market.

The custom made “VGroove” cutterhead has 10+10 V-shaped cutters guaranteeing tool life up to 10 times longer than traditional flute tools.

This unit can also accommodate a saw blade for high speed cutting a variety of architectural cladding panels such as: HPL, fiber cement and solid aluminum etc.

The Alu Ranger series VGroove has been designed and equipped to process composite aluminum panels for architectural façades.

With the correct choice of tools and options, it is possible to process solid aluminium panels, ACM with “MINERAL CORE”, HPL, fiber cement and plastic/acrylic for facades, interior design and visual communication.

Using the proper tools, rotation speed, feed rate and mist lubrication, the panel router can process a variety of different substrates. Consult the specifications of the panels and tools manufacturers

The possibility of V-shaped cutting and milling (up to 50 m/min – ca. 2000 IPM) with a powerful and independent dedicated operating unit “V175 VGroove”, will produce high daily output of cassettes for architectural facades.

Dedicated dust collection hood

The custom designed dust collection hood mounted on this unit can collect up to 99% of the swarf or the dust created during material processing. Eliminating the cleaning of the working table and risk of dust inhalation by the operators.

High speed processing

The “Vgroove” unit alternates with the main spindle R75A that works with flute tools and aggregates with sawblades. The R75A unit has two tool changers: the main one, located right next to the spindle with 6 tool holders, and a second linear tool changer with 2 tool holders for aggregates (available 3 rd position optional).

The “Vgroove” and “R75A” units, work in tandem to produce a double headed attack to produce unmatched levels of productivity.

Both units can be equipped with a 4th axis to allow rotation of the blades and cutterheads to execute cuts and grooves at high speed in any direction needed, even fractions of degrees!

The “VGroove” unit boosts the overall processing speed of the machine.

The particular configuration of the head in the V Groove models allows to obtain great flexibility for the machining of the panels. Every processing required can count on the fastest and most efficient system. Drilling at the tips, milling of cutters and cuts ro blades

AUTOMATIC LOADING-POSITIONING-PROCESSING FABRICATION CELL

The Alu Ranger VGroove class can achieve unrivaled productivity performance by varying the length of the working table and on the choice of the options. Productivity may be customized between 300 to 600 sq/mt per day (3200 to 6400 sq/ft) in a 8 hour shift by processing ACM with PE Core using an optimizing software program and fully utilized working table.

Our Patented Alu Loader and the Alu Feeder can increase productivity of 25% more, bringing the model 10121 VGroove to an impressive 850 sq/mt (9200 sq/ft) per day.

The ACM panels can be lifted by the Alu Loader and put into a position where the Alu Feeder can pick up the panel and bring it to the starting point of the working table. All this is automatically managed by the PLC. All these processes are completely automatic and operator free.

Alu Ranger, Alu Loader and Feeder are encapsulated within light curtains for the maximum safety. Alu Loader and Alu Feeder are eliminating any chance of operator injury and damages to the panel. The “Vertical Working Cell” composed of the Alu Ranger and the Alu Loader requires an amazing 60% less floor space than a horizontal panel router with equivalent working table.
